Veterinary examinations can be a real hell for some pet owners, whether due to increased stress for their animal friend from unfamiliar places, other animals, or a large number of strangers.
At other times, the owner may prefer an in-home veterinary examination, whether for time, health, or logistical reasons. Our veterinarians are ready to come to you, whatever the reason. Just fill out an order here .
The so-called field veterinary service (veterinarian at your home) is characterized by the fact that the animal is treated in its home (familiar) environment, which has a positive effect on its stress level, trust in the treating doctor, and the overall smooth course of the examination. A mobile veterinarian to the home with a fully equipped ambulance is undoubtedly the most convenient form of examination for the owner himself. If your pet has developed any non-emergency condition* (behavioral changes, apathy, diarrhea, loss of appetite, allergies, vomiting, colds, movement problems, dermatological problems, etc.) or other needs (vaccination/deworming/issuance of a passport/preventive check-up, etc.) , a home veterinary examination is suitable for them and certainly the least stressful form of interaction with a veterinarian. 👨⚕️ 🐶
Veterinary visits must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance, depending on the capabilities of the client and the attending veterinarian. Due to the nature of the service and its logistical capacity, it is not possible to ensure immediate veterinary intervention or provision of first aid. In cases of an emergency, please use the services of the Veterinary Ambulance .

Although it is never a pleasant thing, even the final farewell to a beloved pet is often more appropriate and dignified for everyone involved, and especially for the animal itself, in the warmth of its home, surrounded by the people who have loved it all its life, than in a sterile and impersonal office or room.
Home euthanasia (putting your dog, cat, or other animal to sleep at home) is definitely the least stressful and most personal way for your pet to spend the last moments of their life together. Giving your animal friend the most peaceful possible departure from this world should be the priority of every loving owner. ❤️
If you are interested in an examination at your home (veterinary visit), simply click on the "Book an examination" button below, fill in basic information about your pet, provide your contact details, choose your preferred examination date, and pay a deposit for the visit. You will then receive a confirmation of the date by email in the form of an invitation to the event in your calendar, including all necessary information.
The expected price of the trip depends on the established indicative prices of mobile veterinary services. When ordering a veterinary trip, the client is required to accept this price list (see here).
The deposit for the veterinary visit is 1000 CZK, which you pay in advance via a payment gateway (payment by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay). The exact final price of the examination, based on the indicative price list, will be determined after its actual performance according to its complexity, distance, time spent, and real costs (consumables, medication, etc.), and will be reduced by the deposit already paid (you only pay the difference, either by card, QR payment, or in cash).
* The mobile veterinary service does not serve as an emergency room or ambulance and is not suitable in cases of an acute nature (unconsciousness, suffocation, bleeding, shock, seizures, gastric torsion, etc.), when urgent intervention by a veterinarian with adequate medical equipment is necessary. In acute cases, therefore, use the services of the Veterinary Ambulance Sonda.cz, or the veterinary emergency room or veterinary hospital in your place of residence, if the Veterinary Ambulance Sonda.cz service is not available in your region.

How much will I pay for a home visit?
Our veterinarians are dedicated, empathetic professionals, and we strive to compensate them accordingly. Even so, the cost of examination and medication falls within the range of standard clinic treatments you are accustomed to. The second, though less significant, component of the final examination price is the call-out itself, or rather the financial and time costs associated with it. The transport rate for the under-3.5-tonne ambulance is 44 CZK/km, calculated round-trip from Pod Nuselskymi schody Street, Prague 2. For the large ambulance (5.5 tonnes) with a driver, the rate is 59 CZK/km round-trip (required for examinations, procedures, or surgeries performed inside the ambulance). After filling out the booking form, you will automatically be redirected to a payment gateway to pay a call-out deposit of 1,000 CZK. Experience shows that this is typically the lower limit for the total cost of a home visit. If the total examination price is higher (due to consumables, medication, greater time required, longer distance traveled, etc.), this deposit amount will be deducted from your final price. The paid deposit also serves as a cancellation fee in case the scheduled examination is canceled less than 48 or 24 hours in advance (see more below).
The estimated cost of the visit is based on the established estimated price ranges for mobile veterinary services (+- 10%). The client is required to accept this price list when booking a veterinary call-out (see here).
What should I do if something comes up before my scheduled home visit?
We completely understand that unforeseen things occasionally happen and you may be unable to keep your scheduled appointment. Should it be necessary, you can cancel or reschedule your home visit to another day free of charge up to 48 hours before it begins. You can easily do so via email or phone (you can find all details in the Contacts section). In such cases, please change your appointment as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to another furry friend. 🐱 🐶
If you cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 48 hours before it begins, we reserve the right to charge a fee (see below), as we are usually unable to fill the canceled slot at such short notice.

Can I get a price estimate for the home visit in advance?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide a fixed quote in advance, as veterinary treatments and follow-up procedures are tailored to the individual condition of the patient. Your pet is a living creature with individual needs and concerns—therefore, an exact cost estimate in advance is not possible, considering the overall complexity of the examination, the distance traveled, the time spent, and the variability of prescribed medication. However, we can tell you approximately how much similar examinations have cost in the past.
