Telemedicine (remote examination)

veterinarian providing consultation

Telemedicine consists of providing medical or veterinary care remotely, most often in the form of a (video) call or consultation via telephone or personal computer based on knowledge of the patient's complete medical history and a detailed description of their current condition, including high-quality photo/video documentation with visible symptoms, based on which a diagnosis and appropriate treatment are either immediately determined, or the patient is further directed to a specific specialist.

If your pet has any non-acute health problems ( behavioral changes, apathy, loss of appetite, diarrhea, allergies, vomiting, colds, movement problems, dermatological problems, etc.) , you can consult with one of our experienced veterinarians at a time that suits you. According to statistics, up to 60% of all cases can be resolved using telemedicine*. In more than half of cases, a visit to the veterinary clinic (and the associated time and higher financial costs) is therefore completely unnecessary.

If you are interested in an online veterinary examination, simply click on the "Order a consultation" button below, fill in basic information about your pet, provide your contact details and choose your preferred examination date and then pay for the examination via the payment gateway (payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). You will receive confirmation of the examination date or a proposal for an alternative date. And don't worry, on the day of the appointment we will remind you of the scheduled consultation via SMS and email. 🙂

The price of a remote veterinary consultation via phone or online is CZK 500. The price does not include any prescribed medication.

In non-acute cases where you need a physical visit from a veterinarian at your home, you can use
the Veterinarian at Your Home service, or in acute cases, the Veterinary Ambulance service if your pet requires urgent veterinary assistance.

*Although telemedicine is an increasingly popular form of providing medical or veterinary services, it inherently has its limits and is therefore not suitable for patients with acute health problems ( unconsciousness, choking, bleeding, shock, seizures, gastric torsion, etc.) that require immediate assistance from a veterinarian with professional medical equipment.

Of course, we understand that sometimes something unforeseen can happen and you cannot keep the agreed date. If it should ever be necessary, you can cancel or reschedule your home examination for another day free of charge up to 48 hours before it starts. You can do this easily via email or by phone (you can find everything in the Contacts section). In such a case, please change your date as soon as possible so that we can offer it to another furry friend. 🐱 🐶

If you cancel or reschedule your exam less than 48 hours before it starts, we reserve the right to charge a fee (see below) as we are usually unable to replace a canceled exam at such short notice.
