Our veterinary clinic

As is often the case, some things you don't plan for happen, and yet they do. That's how we could describe the birth of our own veterinary clinic at Pod Nuselskymi schody 3, Prague 2 - Vinohrady .
Although in 99% of cases we manage to treat patients at home during veterinary ambulance trips, from time to time it is necessary to take one of them for subsequent hospitalization or observation after the procedure.

Other times, clients asked us if they could come to us and save on transportation, which would otherwise be paid for. This was repeated until we decided to open our own clinic. Our clinic is now open every day from 9 am to 8 pm, including weekends and public holidays. Due to high demand, priority is always given to clients who have ordered via the order form with a pre-paid deposit.

At our veterinary clinic, we have all the equipment that we have available in our veterinary ambulances, including X-ray with direct digitization, USG device (sonom), biochemical, immunological, and hematological analyzer, microscope, and oxygen generator with oxygen box.

We also have heated hospitalization cages, an operating room, and, of course, all other equipment of a regular veterinary clinic (drug storage, cooling boxes, etc.). The advantage of an examination at the clinic compared to a veterinary ambulance going to the patient's home is, of course, its lower final price, since in this case there is no charge for round-trip transportation (unlike a veterinary ambulance trip).

At our clinic, we focus on an individual approach, where the client does not feel like they are in a regular impersonal medical facility, but rather in a cozy, pleasant, and friendly environment, where we take care of their pet while they calmly drink our delicious coffee, which they will also receive for free. ☕

In contrast to our competitors, there is usually no waiting at our clinic, at least not for those who book an examination for a specific day and hour in advance. These clients, or rather their pets, are always treated first. With us, there is basically no waiting in the office, with real exceptions. This saves not only your wallet by not being charged for transport, as is the case with veterinary ambulance trips, but also your precious time.

The total price of the examination depends on the set indicative prices of veterinary services (+- 10%), the acceptance of which is required from the client during the ordering process.

After completing the order form, you will be redirected to the payment gateway to make an advance payment of CZK 1,000, which will be deducted from the final price after the examination.

Ordering an examination at the clinic is also suitable if you need to put your dog, cat or other pet to sleep (euthanasia), when the health of an elderly animal deteriorates so much in a short period of time that it is obvious that it is no longer compatible with a quality life without extreme physical and psychological suffering. In such a case, the painless departure of your animal friend is something that should not be delayed unnecessarily. At our clinic, if necessary, we will also take care of the removal of your pet's remains (and subsequent disposal or cremation ).

If you are interested in an examination at the clinic, simply click on the "Order an examination at the clinic" button below, fill in basic information about your pet, provide your contact details, choose your preferred examination date and pay the deposit. You will then receive an email confirmation of the date in the form of an invitation to the event in the calendar, including all necessary information.

The deposit for the examination at the veterinary clinic is 1000 CZK, which you pay in advance via a payment gateway (payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). The exact final price of the examination, based on the indicative price list , will be determined after its actual performance according to its complexity, the procedures performed, the time spent, the medication used and the costs of consumables, and will be reduced by the deposit already paid (you only pay the difference, either by card, QR payment or in cash).

Frequently asked questions

How much will I pay for an examination at the clinic?

Our veterinarians are dedicated, empathetic professionals, and we strive to compensate them accordingly. The cost of examination and medication falls within the range of standard clinic treatments you are accustomed to. You can find our complete estimated price list here.

An emergency surcharge is billed according to the price list for appointments booked on weekdays outside regular working hours (9 AM - 6 PM), on weekends, or on public holidays. Furthermore, an emergency surcharge applies according to the price list when accepting an emergency (unbooked) patient if other patients are already scheduled for that time and their planned examinations must subsequently be rescheduled.

After filling out the booking form, you will automatically be redirected to a payment gateway to pay a deposit of 1,000 CZK for the visit.

Where is your clinic located and what are your opening hours?

Our clinic is located at Pod Nuselskými schody 1721/3, 120 00, Prague 2, and is open every day from 9 AM to 8 PM, including weekends and public holidays.

Do I need to book an appointment at the clinic in advance?

Theoretically no, but please be aware that all patients in the waiting room who have booked their appointment in advance (and paid the deposit for it) will be treated as a priority. The only exception is the priority admission of an acute patient, which is subject to an emergency surcharge according to the price list.

Can I get a price estimate for the clinic examination in advance?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide a fixed quote in advance, as veterinary treatments and follow-up procedures are tailored to the individual condition of the patient. Your pet is a living creature with individual needs and concerns—therefore, an exact cost estimate in advance is not possible, considering the overall complexity of the examination, the number of procedures performed, the time spent, and the variability of prescribed medication. However, you can review the estimated prices for individual veterinary procedures here, from which the final amount should not deviate by more than 10%.

What should I do if something comes up before my scheduled clinic appointment?

We completely understand that unforeseen things occasionally happen and you may be unable to keep your scheduled appointment. Should it be necessary, you can cancel or reschedule your clinic appointment to another day free of charge up to 48 hours before it begins.

You can easily do so via email or phone (you can find all details in the Contacts section). In such cases, please change your appointment as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to another furry friend. 🐱 🐶

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 48 hours before it begins, we reserve the right to charge a fee (see below), as we are usually unable to fill the canceled slot at such short notice.

Cancellation policy for canceling or rescheduling a clinic appointment:

  • Less than 48 hours before the appointment - 50% of the paid deposit

  • Less than 24 hours or no-show - 100% of the paid deposit.
